1. About this website

APEX Journal is an independent editorial portfolio website for car lovers. It publishes automotive histories, model profiles, design commentary and photographs for general interest. It is not a dealership, vehicle marketplace or official manufacturer website. These terms explain the intended use of the journal and its content.

2. Reading and using the journal

You may browse the pages for personal interest and share links, subject to the website’s access settings. Do not attempt to bypass access restrictions, disrupt the website, introduce malicious code or misrepresent yourself as APEX or one of its contributors. Use of the site must respect applicable law and other people’s rights.

3. Editorial information

We aim to present accurate information, but articles may contain errors or become outdated. Specifications can vary by year, model, market and individual vehicle. Historical performance figures are attributed manufacturer claims, not measurements made by APEX.

Articles are not first-hand road tests unless expressly stated. They are not vehicle inspections, valuations or personalised buying, financial or mechanical advice. Verify information relevant to a purchase or maintenance decision with the manufacturer or a suitably qualified specialist. Nothing in the journal encourages unsafe or unlawful driving.

4. Text, images and reuse

Reading the website does not grant a general licence to republish its articles, design or other material. Any reuse must be permitted by the relevant rights holder, an applicable licence or the law, including any applicable quotation or other copyright exception.

Third-party photographs retain their own rights and licences. Follow the author, source and licence information on the Photo credits & licences page. Where a photograph is offered under Creative Commons, that licence governs its reuse; these terms do not add restrictions to it. Resizing or display crops are identified there. A photograph’s licence does not automatically cover trademarks or other rights depicted in it, or the rest of this website.

5. Names, brands and external links

Car brands and model names identify the subjects of our coverage. APEX does not claim affiliation with or endorsement by the manufacturers, photographers or organisations featured.

Links to references and image sources are provided for further reading and attribution. External websites have their own content, terms and privacy practices, which APEX does not control. A link is not an endorsement of every statement or service on the destination website.

6. Availability and your rights

Pages may be updated or temporarily unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every article will remain unchanged. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

7. Updates to these terms

These terms may be revised to reflect changes to the journal. The revision date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights already acquired.
